Rapid heat cycle injection molding technology is a new method in injection molding industry, which could eliminates apparent defects, such as weld line, flow marks, glass fiber revealed, craze and so on. This technology could catch up with the requirements of people to plastic products.Since there is not much study on temperature field of rapid heat cycle injection, in this paper, the temperature field of rapid heat cycle injection with electric heating was studied, and the principles of mould design were investigated. The simulation model of rapid heat cycle injection with electric heating was established in Ansys, and the environments of rapid heat cycle injection with electric heating proved the validity of the simulation process. And then The temperature response of mould in heating stage, filling stage and cooling stage were analyzed by numerical simulation, the corresponding simulation method was obtained at last. Base on this method, the influence of two variables:the numbers of heating pipelines and the distance between the pipeline’s center and mould cavity surface, on temperature response of mould were studied and compared with the control group, based on which the principles of mould design were put forward.
