Instrument Construction Design For Annual70,000Tons Phenolic Tackifier Project

At present, with a great quantity of petroleum and chemical industry related foreign engineering companies, design companies and consulting firms to enter, which makes the petroleum and chemical engineering design industry increasingly fierce competition and also brings great challenge to the domestic medium-small chemical design institute. Under the circumstances, a growing number of these design institutes are seeking to translate engineering company which has EPC ability. In this process, many aspects of the design institutes require to be reformed such as operation mode, structure and system, management and so on. Especially in the design process, they need to enhance the depth and quality of the design, greater emphasis on design management, so as to make the design process more standard and rational and lay a good foundation for the follow-up.This thesis made an exhaustive research and explanation about the content and method of instrument construction design in "Annual70,000tons Phenolic Tackifier and15,000tons Formaldehyde Project". The main contents of thesis are the following points:first, instrument selection, which is mainly for the insturments of temperature, pressure, flow and level meters and also summarized the principle of selection and the feature of the instruments. Second, listed the requirements of instrumentation installation and describes the installation in this project. Third, control room, explaning the detal design method of the control room. Forth, power and grounding system, introduced the methods of instrument power supply and grounding system. Fifth, instrument cable layout, indicated the route design of field instrument cable, cable tray and air pipes.This design is built on the experience of previous project design, national and industy standards and a mass of relevant literature. The thesis made a detailed description for several important parts of instrument construction design in chemical engineering project. The thesis can play a certain reference function for other instrument design.
