Pneumatic conveying are bulk conveying process, through the air as power supply, along the conveying pipeline, and finally in the end pipeline through the separation device making the gas and material separation, so as to achieve the purpose of conveying material. The technology has been two hundred years of history, because it is enclosed conveying, which have the features as dust-proof and protecting the environment etc, therefore it is widely used in every field.Due to the pneumatic conveying is main delivery form in plastic industry, with the development of industry, people who demanding for plastic products and quality requirement is enhancing unceasingly, and pneumatic conveying relative to other transportation mode has high energy consumption. These will make pneumatic conveying are faced with great challenge. The design and optimization of energy saving of pneumatic conveying efficiency of plastic granules are put forward higher requirements.Aiming at the pneumatic conveying system for the in-depth research, focusing on the analysis of the system of economic performance. The structure is mainly divided into five parts:pneumatic conveying system overview, pneumatic conveying system parameters analysis, pneumatic conveying system main equipment analysis, PE plastic particle conveying mode economy analysis, PE plastic particle transport experiment. Pneumatic conveying system mainly summarizes briefly overall performance characteristics of the pneumatic conveying system and the necessity and operability of economic analysis. Pneumatic conveying system parameters analysis mainly researches the influence of conveying system economy by the parameters of the conveying system. Pneumatic conveying system equipments analysis mainly studies the common equipment characteristics in pneumatic conveying system and the influence of the economy for the system. Economy analysis of PE plastic particle conveying mode, in a certain delivery conditions, obtains respectively the best delivery conditions in dilute phase conveying mode and dense phase conveying way by examples. The last part verifies theory analysis through the test of dense phase conveying with auxiliary tube step pressure fill gas, which has the effect on conveying pressure loss, powder quantity and transportation energy consumption; According to the specific phenomenon analysis reason, to sum up experience.This paper also through the concrete example is given the dilute phase conveying design process of PE plastic particles for first time; For the first time carried out the dilute phase conveying and dense phase conveying comparison within the short distance transport, such as equipment composition, cost of investment and operation energy consumption, etc. Due to the dense phase pneumatic conveying than dilute phase conveying operation low energy consumption, and so has been the development of pneumatic conveying the main trend, but this article through the theoretical research concludes that the short distance transport and there are dilute phase conveying than dense phase conveying low energy consumption, which is not under any circumstances that dense phase conveying than the dilute phase conveying energy saving, dense phase conveying only in long distance transport than dilute phase energy saving.
