Study On The Ecological Civilization Construction Construction From The Horison Of Ecological Marxism

Ecological Marxism was generated the worldwide influential green movement inthe early1960s, which is one of an important emerging genre of the contemporarywestern Marxism. In all kinds of green theory, ecology Marxism combine Marxisttheory and ecology theory for the first time to profoundly reveal the root of theecological crisis from the social system, mode of production, ideology, etc and apreada new ecological criticism for the contemporary capitalism. At the same time, itexplored the route out of the crisis, depicted the future ecological socialism. Theecology Marxism theory has an important significance to the construction ofecological civilization.In this paper, after analyzing the current situation of China and how thedeveloped countries solved ecological crisis, the combination of the ecological crisistheory of ecological Marxist and the ecological problems in real life was providedtheoretical reference for the construction of ecological civilization in the new period.Article consists of six parts, the introduction and the first, second, third andfourth chapters and conclusionsThe first part theoretically discusses the ideological basis of the ecologicalcivilization construction. Marx and Engels’ theory about the relationship betweenman and nature, the idea of ecological civilization construction of contemporaryChinese Marxist and the ecological crisis theory of ecology Marxist providetheoretical resources for ecological civilization.Based on reality, the second part analyzed the current situation of China’secological environment. First, through data analysis, the conclusion showed the statusquo of resources, air quality, etc. is not optimistic in China, and then the reason wasexplained from the following four aspects: the traditional concept of development, theextensive mode of economic development, consumerism lifestyle, the idea of natureIn the third part, in order to provide direction for the country to solve theecological crisis, not only the experience of solving the ecological crisis in four countries (United States, France, Germany, and Japan) was compared, but also thecause of the status quo of China’s ecological environment was combined. The UnitedStates improved the ecological environment through the establishment of a soundecological and environmental protection laws system, various policy measures andraising public awareness of ecological civilization. France improved the ecologicalenvironment by improving the legal system and environmental management system,increasing public participation in environmental publicity and education, the strongimplementation of environmental governance measures. Germany paid more attentionto the role of social groups and legal and institutional construction; Japan improvedtheir ecological environment by strengthening the construction of social and legalsystem, establishing a sound social media and evaluation system.Based on the analysis of the second and third part, and combined with theMarxist theory of ecology and the experience Western developed countries, the fourthpart proposed measures in four feasible measures to improve the construction ofecological civilization. First, at the institutional level, the changes of social systems,and the establishment of a broad public participation system are needed to improvethe protection system of the ecological civilization construction. Secondly, therevelation of economic development mode caused by ecological Marxism suggeststhat developing of circular economy, the transforming of development mode,accelerating the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure, and the developingof green GDP are needed. Thirdly, inspiration of the lifestyle change caused byecological Marxism suggests that a low-carbon lifestyle, the changing of consumerattitudes, and the promotion of green consumption. Finally, from the inspiration ofecological Marxism and the conversion of thinking mode, the alienation consumerspending should be overcome by ecological consumer spending. The consumer valuesof an ecological civilization should be built. And the false demand should beovercame to guide people to moderate consumption.Part five describes the significance of ecological civilization construction,pointing out it not only is conducive to the improvement and the development of thescientific development concept, but also rich in ecological Marxist theory. From the practical aspects, ecological civilization construction is the manifestation of thesuperiority of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the fundamental guarantee ofsustainable economic development, and the inevitable requirement of China’s nationalsustainable development.
