Ultrasonic automatic detection system of CNC machine tools is a highly integrated seriesdetection system which is a set of CNC machine tools, ultrasonic inspection system andcomputer as a whole,its theory based on the modular design of the product family,uppercomputer can write and communicate the detection control code, and can achieve dataacquisition,storage and processing and locating,quantitative and qualitative analysis ofdefects,lower computer and CNC machine tools togetherly can achieve on-line real-timedetection for the seized workpiece and The system makes CNC machining and ultrasonictesting organic combine,not only greatly reduces the investment cost and the time cost,butalso greatly improves the efficiency and quality.it realizes the automatization,picturization andintelligentization of ultrasonic-testing.This article has studied the software technology of the product family of CNC automaticultrasonic inspection system, the following two aspects are mainly demonstrated.(1) Combines with the modular design of the product family module division anddiscussion of the control algorithms of ultrasonic testing,for the different machines anddetection,it brings forward two programming methods such as“Conventional programmingmethod”and“Special programming method”to program“Machining NC code”,and discussesthe corresponding algorithm. designs NC code compiler of CNC automatic ultrasonicinspection system with VB, It can distribute the NC code to the main movement “DetectionNC code”and the additional movement“Attachment NC code”.(2) A new platform has been developed by LabVIEW (product of America NationalInstruments corporation), and a signal processing system of data acquisition card has beenestablished. The management software of the product family of CNC automatic ultrasonicinspection system can control data acquisition, signal processing, defect analysis,communication interface and control algorithms. uses the modular design of the product family and software reusing technology based on object-oriented.as its theory, Finally realizesthe versatile, reusability, easy-clipped, portability and expandability and so on,which meetsthe requirements of variable users.The developed product family management software can control different kinds, differenttypes of CNC machine tools to achieve ultrasonic automatic detection for a variety of parts, tomeet the actual need.
