The rapid development of the knitting industry has brought opportunities for the development of knitting machinery.In particular,knitting machines are affected by fashion trends and new technologies,and their control methods continue to develop in the direction of digitization,intelligence,and high speed.Jacquard circular knitting machine is a kind of small diameter circular weft knitting machine which has developed rapidly in recent years.Its knitting efficiency is high and requires stable and reliable,the control system requires high real-time performance and stability.Based on the analysis of the basic composition and control requirements of the jacquard circular knitting machine,this paper propose a new control system design scheme of jacquard circular knitting machine rely on the ARM9+Cortex-M4 architecture.The control system upper computer and the lower computer communicate by the CAN bus,it is helpful to the distributed control of the entire implementing agency,which overcomes the defect of the traditional control system such as low real-time performance and poor scalability.This paper presents the total design scheme of jacquard circular knitting machine control system based on the control requirements of the jacquard circular knitting machine and knitting process for socks.The peripheral circuits and functional circuits were designed for the S3C2416 main control chip and STM32F405 coprocessor,and configure the embedded cross development environment and transplant the embedded Linux operating system to the ARM9 main control chip.At the same time,design the man-machine interaction interface system for the jacquard circular knitting machine by Qt software,and complete software and hardware-related design.The software design part of the control system explain the pattern data analysis of the jacquard circular knitting machine.Firstly,the decompression algorithm of pattern data of jacquard circular knitting machine was studied and analyzed.Then,the pattern data format of jacquard circular knitting machine was analyzed.Finally,the algorithm for extracting pattern data of jacquard circular knitting machine was studied and verified.This paper introduces the CAN bus on underlying design part,and defines thedata frame format of the control system.At the same time,the air valve control scheme,needle selector control scheme,stepper motor control scheme and servo drive circuit are designed.And explain the valve drive waveforms,row selector scanning algorithm and stepper motor speed control,and carry out relevant analysis.Finally,the jacquard circular knitting machine control system is stable and reliable by actual testing.and the real-time and stability of the control system all meet the control requirements.The man-machine interface of the jacquard circular knitting machine control system easy to use.The real-time and stability of the control system can meet the production requirements of stocking.It has good economic value and practical value.
