Corrosion problems will cause a lot of resources and energy waste, pollution of the environment, will bring more serious personal injury accidents and other disasters. Because of the multitude of devices and complex conditions cause corrosion problems in the petrochemical industry becomes more prominent. Painting is one of the most effective anti-corrosion coatings, most economical, the most common method of preventing corrosion. Performance film coating composition is determined on the basis of good or bad performance anti-corrosion coatings. Epoxy resin because of its good heat resistance, high strength and excellent adhesion properties to the substrate, the coating is widely used in the field.With the diversification of technological advances and corrosion problems, people breed and performance anti-corrosion coatings also made additional demands. Cured epoxy resin generally has a large brittle, resulting in impact resistance, vibration resistance and peel resistance and poor fatigue properties, the impact of its use, it needs to be modified. Studies have shown that the use of rubber, a thermoplastic polymer resin, modified epoxy resin to good effect. These modifiers produce phase separation during the curing process, forming sea-island structure, the epoxy resin can improve the toughness and heat resistance.In this study, petrochemical equipment for corrosion problems faced by developing a new targeted anti-corrosion coatings. The coating should have a high toughness, wear resistance, acid, alkali, salt, oil and other features, can play a role in delaying or waiver of such equipment corrosion. This article reviews the common types of corrosion, material selection principle of anti-corrosion coating formulation design, performance testing anti-corrosion coatings, epoxy modification. Selected to HTPB pblyurethane elastomer-modified epoxy resin as the main film-forming composition using micaceous iron oxide, carbon black, molybdenum disulfide, silicon carbide as the filler, to determine the terminal hydroxyl polybutadiene-modified polyurethane elastomer Preparation of epoxy anti-corrosion coatings prepared by an excellent mechanical properties, good corrosion resistance of solvent-thick anti-corrosion coatings. Test results and field coating application results show that hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene polyurethane elastomer toughening effect is obvious, anti-corrosion coatings was prepared to meet its intended application performance anti-corrosion coating products for oil, water, temperature, corrosion resistance, special requirements of wear resistance and other properties.
