With the rapid development of economy, printing technology which is committed to improving the production efficiency is widely applying in all works of life. Printing technology originated from the United States in the late1960s and matured after30years. At present, only a few of developed countries mastered the complex core technology of inkjet printer. Domestic printing technology developed relatively later and less mature. There is a big gap between China and foreign countries. The price and maintenance cost of imported printer is higher. The interface is too complex to operate without strict training. Therefore it is significant to develop an inkjet printer of lower price yet better applicable to our industry.At present, the properties of the domestic inkjet printer such as’huanuo’only is with the same level of imports in the1990s, printing quality and real-time performance is very poor. The idea of main coordinated control the continuous inkjet printer is proposed in order to improve the properties.The continuous inkjet printer adopts the design of double controls with serial communication. According to the differences of real-time demands, different module adopts different processor control. Main controller is responsible for operations with higher real-time requirements and directly related to inkjet printing, such as charging system, ink, etc. Coordinated controller is responsible for operations with lower real-time requirements, such as the display of machine working state, editing of print information,etc. The interaction of information doesn’t affect the printing work.The main job of this paper is to design and implement the man-machine interactive system. After studying the development of domestic and abroad inkjet printer, the paper comes to the realistic meaning of this topic. After analyzing the functional requirements of the man-machine interactive system, the overall design of system is given. Then the paper describes the design of hardware and software of the system in detail. The hardware part mainly includes the power supply module, LCD module, keyboard module, and the software part mainly includes the address calculation method of Chinese character in FontLab chip, the spelling method, the editing and storage of printing information, multilevel menu, setting of security level,etc. Finally, the paper analyzes and resolves the problems presented in the process of software debugging, and introduces the details of the relevant content of optimized options.
