In recent years, detection reagent has been an important part of food production which is used to detect whether food is safety. With the great increase of food industry, traditional manual assembly cannot meet the enterprise’s production need any more. Meanwhile with the development of science and technology, computers are increasingly use in automatic assembly system. So, entrusted by the enterprise, a reagent packaging machine is produced used for detection reagent automated assembly..A complete set of reagent packaging automatic assembly system is mainly composed of automatic feeding systems, automatic transfer system, workstations and assembly agencies. In the thesis, we start from the detection regents’structure, and then determine the assembly order. The following aspects’ work is done with the determination of the overall plan.The design of automatic transfer system is done. The dividing principles of some intermittent transmission mechanisms are analyzed to determine the advantages and disadvantages. Suitable dividing mechanism is chosen and according to the working conditions, some calculation is made to finish model selection and design of the intermittent transmission system.The analysis and design of automatic feeding system is done. The working principle of vibrating feeder is analyzed, and the selection of its important components. Meanwhile completing the design of filters straight push agencies and the selection of cylinder. We also analyzed the powder feeding mechanism branch, and choose the screw feed mechanism as our feeding mechanism.Analysis and design of assembled bodies is done. We completed the design and selection analysis of each assembly station workbench with each station assembly mechanism.With research work done, the automatic assembly system for reagent packaging, which realizes the automatic assembly of packaged reagents, improves the production efficiency, reduces the production cost, and enhances the enterprise’s core competitiveness, is finally developed. At the same time, the assembly system successfully transfers automatic assembly technology into practical use. It is typical automatic system, which offers an important reference for other automatic assembly system.
