Qingdao Port is the largest transit port for oil transportation, crude oil importshas remained China’s coastal ports first.2008to2010, respectively, Qingdao Portimported oil,35.01million tons,37.18million tons and42.5million tons.300,000tons oil terminal project, national oil reserve base, a large oil refinery and other largeprojects have been put into operation, Qingdao has become with the oil refining,chemicals, storage, and transportation and other features of the heavy chemicalindustry base. Qingdao Port Liquid Chemical Terminal, located in Jiaozhou Bay, thewest side adjacent to an oil terminal, the construction scale of three liquefaction andoil berths for crude oil (fuel oil), gasoline, diesel, kerosene, benzene, toluene, xylene,etc. loading and unloading as the main species, annual capacity of about10.91milliontons.Qingdao Port Liquid Chemical Terminal, handling, storage and transportation ofcargo types, most are flammable, explosive, and the risk of leakage, the dailymanagement of production safety is very important terminal contents.
