Firstly, according to spatial meshing principle of the crossed helical gear drive, thepaper establishes the geometric model on analysis of contact theory in gear surface ofcrossed helical gear transmission in suitable coordinate system, which providesrationale basis for drawing up the momentary contact ellipse in MATLAB andanalyzing tooth face contact stress in ANSYS.Secondly, by the MATLAB software programming, the paper establishes crossedhelical gear’s3D contact model, and draws up the momentary contact ellipse when theyare meshing; next, analyzes the different parameter influence on tooth contact zone byresearching the different parameters’ cross helical gear drive; at last, obtains aconclusion that enhances meshing performance through chooses the reasonable basicparameter under the different application conditions.Finally, the paper establishes cross helical gear’s3D movement simulation modelby PRO/E, next, through the connection between PRO/E and ANSYS, inducts themodel to ANSYS for tooth face contact stress by utilizing the structure statics module,obtains the tooth face contact shape and the stress and strain chart. Which demonstratesdirectly contact distortion and the stress distributed situation when tooth faces aremeshing, at last, The paper analyzes the tooth face contact stress and the straindistributed situation when tooth faces are meshing according to analysis chart, Theseprovide quota basis for enhancing cross helical gear’s meshing performance, and lay thefoundation for further finding feasible shape-repaired method and the processing craftof unbalance meshing.
