| Beveloid gear as an important part of mechanical transmission,plays an indispensable role in the rapid development of industry.In this paper,aiming at the problems of crossed axis beveloid gear drive,such as large sliding speed between tooth surfaces,low bearing capacity,easy wear of gear pairs and large noise caused by point contact in theory,the concept of beveloid gear with variable displacement coefficient changing nonlinear along the axis was proposed from the machining path of beveloid gear,and a mathematical model of tooth surface flexibility creation of nonlinear modification beveloid gear was established.Combined with tooth contact analysis(TCA)method and load contact analysis(LTCA)method,the contact characteristics and meshing characteristics of the gear transmission were analyzed comprehensively,and compared with the standard beveloid gear transmission,which effectively improved the load capacity of beveloid gear and provided a new direction for the further development of beveloid gear.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Based on the traditional standard beveloid gear,the mathematical model of nonlinear modification beveloid gear was derived based on hobbing machining method and gear geometry theory.The tooth surface set of nonlinear modification beveloid gear was generated by MATLAB programming,and the three dimensional solid model was carried out by Pro/E.(2)The tooth contact analysis model of crossed axis with nonlinear modification beveloid gear was established,and four different machining paths,including positive modification at both ends of pinions,negative modification at both ends of pinions,positive modification at the small end of pinions,negative modification at the big end of pinions were proposed.The contact trace,contact ellipse,relative sliding speed and installation error sensitivity of the gear were analyzed comprehensively,and the comparison with the standard beveloid gear transmission was carried out.(3)Based on the nonlinear modification with positive modification at both ends of pinions,the corresponding contact analysis model of the nonlinear modification beveloid gear was established.The meshing characteristics of the nonlinear modification beveloid gear was simulated by ABAQUS software,and the meshing area of the nonlinear modification beveloid gear was increased by comparing with the standard beveloid gear.At the same time,the meshing characteristics of nonlinear modification beveloid gear with different amplitudes were studied,and the reference range was given for the amplitude of nonlinear beveloid gear with different amplitudes. |
