Isolation technology as an effective way of shock absorption has received highrecognition of scholars both at home and abroad, and is widely used in practicalengineering. At present isolation technology mainly refers to the base isolation and storyisolation, both have a deep research into the methods at home and abroad, segmentedisolation system is a new type of vibration isolation that set up two isolation layer in thesame structure. The analysis of shock absorption’s effects and design method of this newIsolation way are also not very perfect.At first, the paper using MATLAB language write the particle–Duhamel integralmethod, which is suitable for the particle model of the segmented isolated structure andpresents the corresponding formula and the program calculation process. By using anexample respectively analysis and program calculation, comparison of the two results oftime history analysis and programming analysis validate that this method and program arecorrect.On this basis, segmented isolation structure is simplified to two particle model in thisarticle and use the written program for structural damping performance analysis, resultsshow that the two particle simplified method is feasible. By changing mass ratio, stiffnessratio and the parameters of the isolation layer damping ratio of a particle model, analysischanges on the maximum displacement, velocity and acceleration of each particle.Finally, according to the random vibration theory, segmented isolation structureparameters optimization method, with displacement of two isolation layers does notexceed the limit, the upper structure’s acceleration is min as the target of the optimizationto determine the stiffness ratio. Through the optimization, two isolation layer’s stiffnessratio can be selected, as two particle model formula deduction is given, then the twoisolation layer’s stiffness can be determined. Design a26layer frame structure in this way,calculation and analysis it using Sap2000software.
