Lightweight aggregate concrete has many property advantages, sush aslightweight, high strength, anti-seismic, endurance, crack resistance, and has goodcomprehensive economic benefit. Ceramsite as one of the most commonly used lightaggregate, is used to make ceramsite concrete.“National medium and long-termscience and technology development plan outline” of the article54points out keyresearch on building energy saving and green building materials. For civil engineering,the aggregate ceramsite of the ceramsite concrete is to use industrial waste to changewaste into valuables. Using ceramsite concrete in engineering can reduce thedevelopment and utilization of natural resources, which conforms to the greenbuilding material requirements, and at the same time it has good social and economicbenefits.A large number of industrial waste-fly ash is produced because of the productionevery year in China, the use of fly ash ceramsite is one of the methods to consume flyash. According to the requirements of green building materials, this paper uses fly ashceramsite to make concrete, and to do the experiment as follows:(1) Based on the actual project, this paper makes the ceramsite concrete to meetthe requirements, firstly, which is that the strength is not less than7.5MPa, secondly,the density is not more than1400kg/m3, thirdly, a big liquidity for pumping. At thesame time the test of ceramsite concrete slump which is affected by different waterreducing agent varieties and admixture is made, in order to obtain the suitable waterreducing agent variety and dosage. The results show that the mixing ratio can bedesigned to meet the requirements and the slump and spread of concrete will beimproved by different kinds of water reduce, for the performance of liquidity, highperformance water reducing agent FL-HPC works best, UFA-5second, SPA worst.(2) Concrete cracking problem is one of the reasons to affect the durability, inthis paper, the ceramsite concrete cracking performance which is affected by rubber isstudied, and the experiment makes use of the improved ring test which is put forwardby our team. The results show that the rubber dosage increases, the cracking time ofceramsite concrete will be longer. When the proportion is15%, there is no crack in thedetermination of the prescribed time.(3) The ceramsite produced in China has the problems of large size, poorly graded and so on. This paper adopts the crushing way to get crushed cermsite, andcarry out comparative tests between the concrete made from crushed ceramsite andlarge size ceramsite. The results show that crushing ceramsite can obtain small sizeceramsite, compared with complete ceramsite concrete,the workability of crushedceramsite concrete improves, at the same time the strength of crushed ceramsite isalso improved.(4) The pumpability test of the crushed and complete cermsite concrete showsthat segregation of crushed ceramsite concrete improves obviously, the pumpability aswell.
