Advanced production management ability is the foundation of making theadvanced manufacturing industry bigger and stronger. TXF wind driven generatorblade company is facing with the problem of low efficiency, high cost, and is eager tointroduce new kind of management. This paper studied on the production systemsefficiency improvement through analyzing the theory of production systemsefficiency based on the lean management thought and the combination of the situationof the industry and TXF company aiming to decrease the production cost, improveproduct quality, shorten the product delivery and ultimately shorten the managementgap between domestic and foreign company by using the advanced managementmodel. This paper studied the improvement of the company from the factors of sitemanagement, layout, process, standardized work, production planning and materialquota management by using the basic method of industrial engineering. First, wepushed forward5S management to improvement the workers’ thinking. Then weanalyzed the company existing problem by using industrial engineering methods andsolved the problem. On the other hand, we also optimized the machine layout toimprovement the working efficiency. After that we studied on the process and joboperation by using work study methods and optimized the process. According to thecompany’s production character, we studied a class of comprehensive schedulingproblem with parallel job and manpower and used genetic algorithm and MATLABwriting program to solve the problem and got considerable results. Finally, weanalyzed the process quota and did some test to make the optimum material quota anddecrease the raw material cost.Although advanced production management model has been widely used in otherindustries, the core principle is the same. And because of the blade industry charactercombined with few research on them, this paper is meaningful and hope that thisresearch can be useful to other researchers and enterprise managers.
