| With China’s rapid economic development and the increase of private cars, trafficcongestion and energy consumption has become increasingly serious. Intelligenttransportation system came into being in order to solve this problem, implement the"bus priority" development strategy in China and enhance the rate of assessment ofpublic transport in urban travel. Aim at our country’s problems encountered in thedevelopment of public transportation’s intellectualization and informationization, thethesis on the background of Chongqing public transport combined with domestic andoverseas intelligent transportation situation proposes improvements and solutions.Especially, the situation that vehicle terminal is lack of the function of revealing thedegree of crowdedness is solved, and an new graphical electronic bus-stop boardwhich can show more comprehensive information is designed. This provides a basis forin-depth development of intelligent transportation system.Intelligent transportation system is a combination based on embedded, GPS,wireless communication technology. Its aim is to achieve the vehicle’s informatizationand visualization, to provide high quality, safe, fast and convenient public transportservices. It is composed of intelligent vehicle terminal, dispatch centers and electronicbus-stop board. Among them, the smart vehicle terminal as an information collectionequipment and electronic bus-stop board as information display device are the basis ofthe informatization of the public transport system,so they are the main content of thethesis. In this paper, we improve and innovate a new vehicle terminal based onultrasonic testing technology.The terminal can reveal the degree of crowdedness. Inaddition, we using C#language based on the the VS2010platform design a newgraphical electronic bud-stop board.It can display the degree of congestion and theposition of the bus in real-time. Also it can show advertising and public informationeven report the significant event on line.Besides it can forecast the arrival distancewhich can facilitate passengers. The main work of this paper are as follows:①This chapter according the status quo at home and abroad and the actual needsof the Chongqing public transport proposes an overall architecture of the intelligenttransportation system.It gives a detailed description of each layer components and themain working principles of the system.②This chapter describes the process of the realization of the overall structure of the Intelligent vehicle terminal and various components of the module. It focuses on thedegree of congestion detection system, introducing its working principle,implementation and installation standards.③This chapter develop a new graphical electronic bus-stop board,using the C#language. The bus-stop board can make passenger see the bus arrival distance and thedegree of congestion. The details of each display module,the algorithm and programflow are introduced in this chapter.④The system debugging and experiments, summarized and analyzed theexperimental results. |
