Energy-saving operation and management of hypermarket are not just optimizingequipment operation, improving the power efficiency and energy consumption per unitprofit margins, but improving indoor environmental quality to achieve human thermalcomfort, provide customers with a satisfactory shopping environment. This paper aimsto suggest an operation and management suited to the dynamic customer flow model bythe research of operating major energy-using equipment in hypermarket and the finalaim will be guiding the optimized operation of energy-using equipment in hypermarket.First of all, according to the research results, the customer indoor demanddetermines hypermarket indoor environment survey content including: temperature,humidity, carbon dioxide concentration, illumination, noise. At the same time, currentindoor environment will be analysized and evaluated with the customer indoorenvironment satisfaction surveys and standards.Second, investigate shows the major energy-use equipment are air conditioning,lighting and refrigeration. According to the survey results, this paper establishes ahypermarket energy management model and energy device configuration and usagemodel.Again, customer flow forecasting model can be built by customer behavior surveysand customer flow surveys. With these models the conclusion that customer behaviorcharacterized causes energy consumption can be easily researched. Further more,correlation model between the energy-consuming equipment and customer behaviorcharacteristics can be built at last.Finally, basing on the demand of environment and customer behaviorcharacteristics, we can optimize the operation and management of the supermarket byadjustment of the operating.This study is significant for energy-saving operation and management inhypermarkets. Integrating and improving existing energy-saving operation andmanagement measures, the hypermarket will be more efficient in operation andmanagement of the energy system, leaving us a more comfortable indoor environment,meeting the people’s material and spiritual life needs. This paper will offer some advicein China’s building energy management; realize the aim of sustainable development inChina’s buildings through effective energy-saving operation and management; make our country have a high effective use of energy.
