Supermarket plays An indispensable role in daily life, especially in modern China, most of people who live in the city choose supermarket as their first choice to supply their necessity for life. So we should give enough attention to the environment of supermarket. Thus, our HVAC manager of supermarket should not only just optimizing equipment operation, improving the power efficiency and energy consumption per unit profit margins, but also improving indoor environmental quality to achieve human thermal comfort, provide customers with a satisfactory shopping environment. This paper aims to put forward a more suited operation by the research of operating major energy-using equipment and HVAC system in a hypermarket of Changsha.The final aim will be a proposal of energy saving operation, meanwhile this method should be a cheaper to run.First of all, according to the investigation results from domestic and international, our content of the research must base on customer needs of the supermarket. Survey content including: temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentration, illumination, noise. At the same time indoor environment will be evaluated by supermarket satisfaction survey and relative standards.Second, we find the major energy-use equipment are air conditioning, lighting and refrigeration. According to survey research this paper aims to analysis the relationship between energy-use equipment and energy management model.Again, customer flow model can be built by customer behavior surveys and customer flow surveys. With these models the conclusion that customer behavior characterized causes energy consumption can be easily researched. Furthermore, correlation model between the energy-consuming equipment and customer behavior characteristics can be built at last.Finally, based on the change of indoor air quality and the demand of most customers we can adjust the operating strategy, running time, working parameter of HVAC system. So we hope that's a more efficient use of equipment and a lower cost, by this method we can fulfill the optimize operation and management. This paper will offer some advice in China's building energy management; realize the aim of sustainable development in China's buildings through effective energy-saving operation and management.
