With the development of the global economy, environmental problems becomeincreasingly serious, global warming is an indisputable fact. According to relatedstatistics, greenhouse gas emissions caused by the construction industry accountedfor one third of the global total emission, low-carbon building development hasbecome an inevitable trend. This paper describes connotation of low-carbon buildings in detail, andanalyzes the relationship between the construction of carbon emissions and buildingenergy consumption; according to the characteristics of various energy sources, energy carbon emissions coefficient on characteristics and the carbon emissionfactors are analyzed in detail, fossil fuel CO2emission coefficient is calculated.Based on the theory of life cycle in building, this paper has made a detailed studyon building carbon emissions, established carbon source space-time matrix for theconstruction of carbon emissions from the process of architectural design、thebuilding materials production、construction、the usage and the demolition. this paperanalyzed the factors affecting the construction of carbon emissions, identified theboundary of the accounting of carbon emissions, established life cycle carbonemissions in building accounting model.Based on a residential building carbon accounting in Harbin, the process of theusage account for more than75%of the total carbon emissions,is30.7kg/(m2·a), theusage phase and building materials production stage account90%is the focus of thebuilding carbon reduction. The carbon emissions of the usage phase is the lowest, the carbon emissions of the building materials production stage is highest. Onlypaid attention to the construction stage carbon emissions, and ignored other stagesof the practice is not correct, the point of view to reduce carbon emissions from theunit of time, the building materials production stage, construction stage, and therecovery stage are more potential, should take it seriously. Finally, we provide an accessing evaluation on carbon emissions according tothe established model with the qualitative and quantitative method. This paperraised the evaluation of low-carbon design for the architectural design stage, so thatthe role of design phase to be reflected. It enhances human factor of carbonemissions, considers the impact of the regional environment and the equipment, combines carbon emission in building to factors of human and the regionalenvironment which makes the evaluation of low-carbon in building morereasonable.
