Research On Mental Health Center Design Strategy Based On The Analysis Of Behavior And Psychology

Chinese society is undergoing rapid development and great changes behind thedevelopment and change, there is increased incidence of mental diseases, and inpeople’s own awareness, attention to psychological issues was also strengthened.But due to the current situations in China, construction of mental health center fortreatment of psychological disorders is not yet perfect, its architectural designtheory in the field of professional studies have very very little.There are four parts of this article on design countermeasure discussion ofmental health centres. Part one addresses the social and theoretical background ofmental health issues, domestic and international research, as well as the purposeand significance of the research questions, thereby clearly design strategies relatedto mental health centers in China’s urgency and necessity. First determine thetheoretical basis of the study in part II, namely, environmental psychology,architecture, cognitive psychology and psychology of color. After mental healthcenters of development, existing problems and development philosophy andcontemporary development trends, a detailed analysis and summarization of ba sicissues, arrived at a mental health center as a special medical building of thecharacteristic. Then went to its main audience, namely in patients with mentaldiseases, accompanying family members, medical staff base an analysis of thepresent situation, readiness for later research. Part III is based on research,comprehensive analysis, I visited the home of present situation of mental healthinstitutions inside and outside the building space, for its outdoor venues, internalfunction space, as well as relevant elements for the collation and comparison. At thesame time, mental health center has three main audience behavior observations andquestionnaires, gets the audience in this type of behavioral and psychologicalcharacteristics of architectural space, and results for research, statistics and detailedanalyses of the demand for the space environment. Part IV to undertake researchand analysis of the results of the third part, to audience behavior, psychologicaldemand for space as the starting point to design strategy of focusing on mentalhealth center. Diversity of outdoor venues in the first place, three aspects ofcomfort, to seek to meet the needs of audience behavior and designcountermeasures. Secondly, ductility, flexibility of indoor function space andguided three aspects of design, to make every effort to meet the psychologicalneeds of the audience. Again, in terms of details such as interior decoration andWidget, presented to various audiences ’ psychological and physiologicalstimulation and restriction of the design. Overall, this design strategy on mental health center’s research is based onanalysis of research data and results, combined with behavioral, psychologicaltheory, came to the various design elements of the space environment, to reflect itsaudience behavioral needs for space.
