For the schedule plan of large-scale construction projects, the Gantt chart, CPM,PERT and other kinds of network schedule methods are generally adopted. Theremethods to estimate the construction period of a project are always decided by theexperts’personal judgment. However, engineering construction projects especially thestate key investment projects often possess some characteristics such as hugeinvestment, long construction period, high technological and economic risk, greatpotential impact on ecological environment and major uncertainties. Thus, it is easy tomake the actual result of engineering construction projects deviate from theanticipation to a certain degree. So there are often some deviations between the actualsituation and the schedule with this method. On the other hand, the project progress isone of the three main control targets of an engineering project. Therefore, it is quiteimportant to make non-determinacy analysis on the project progress.This article starts from the uncertainties of the construction period of anengineering project and makes evaluation and analysis on the construction period atdifferent angles. On the aspect of computer simulation, it firstly reviews the existingMCS model and the fuzzy network planning model and introduces their own theoriesand calculation methods. Then considering the consequence that random factorsimpact on the construction period, this article introduces the influencing factor basednetwork schedule evaluation model and starts from the source of the uncertainties ofthe construction period which will make simulated construction period be closer to theengineering practice. When the accident happens in actual construction period theremust be some risk measures but they are not considered in previous evaluationmethods. This article puts forward a construction period controllability based (riskcoping) schedule plan evaluation model. It quotes from different activity evaluationindexes in order to evaluate the key of different activities and the importance of thetotal construction period; as to the evaluation of the total period, it uses the totalconstruction period to divide them into groups and record the frequency then calculatethe construction period completion probability curve and progress to evaluate therisks and probability of construction period completion. In this process we useVC#.Net to develop the model. At last this article introduces the VC#.Net tools briefly and does the software development and GUI design based on the fuzzyschedule plan comprehensive evaluation methodrelying on the network schedulestandardized softwares. It also testifies the methods with examples.
