| Full development and construction of urban rail transit with the major cities,China has fully entered the era of the rapid development of rail transportation.However, due to the construction of urban rail in China is still in its infancy, in theplanning and construction yet to achieve overall development, often rail transportationand land-use along the adjustment of their own way out of line, both in the planningand management issues highlighted. Coordinated development strategy study of urbanrail transit and land-use along the start from the planning perspective, the to promoteland along underground largest economic benefits, not only to provide the basis forthe subsequent development of the land along the construction, but also for thesustainable development of cities have important practical significance.This paper covers urban rail transit and coordinated land development along therailway, and the empirical research on Tianjin Metro Line1. First, this paper starts todiscuss the interaction between urban rail transit and urban spatial structure from themacro level and reveals the role of rail transport in the urban development process,bysumming up the rail transit and the spatial structure of these cities, Tokyo,Copenhagen, London and Moscow, interactive development experience to somereference significance for urban development in Tianjin. Secondly, Study the the railtransport’s impact of land-use which located along the railway from meso level.Learning from Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Lianyungang and Suzhou, urban rail transitand land along the Coordination of experience, to provide a reference for thecoordination and development of the Tianjin rail transit and land-use. Again, TianjinMetro Line1, for example, the use of spheres of analysis, comparative analysis, andstatistical analysis methods, and analysis of the current land-use within the range ofone kilometer along the whole, Both from a qualitative and quantitative point of viewto analyze the characteristics and problems in the current land-use along, thencombine with the division of land functions.
