Starting from the current situation and type of water shortage in cities, it analyses the type ofurban landscape water supplies and make a conclusion that to meet the requirements of China’sresource-saving and environment-friendly society, the main part of urban landscape water in thefuture is rainwater and recycled water. However, for the problems of both the water itself andlandscape water quality, research on the practical application of the two respectively. Departurefrom the concept, elements and network systems of green infrastructure, compared the advantageof the natural ecological restoration method based on the concept of green infrastructure in thisrespect.It discusses the application of using urban rainwater as resources and using reclaimedwater as urban landscape water in green infrastructure. It brings forward the initial idea of parkrainwater utilization in Kunming and the governance program of Xi Hua Garden. Data collection,status research, field observations, questionnaires and other research methods are used in thisstudy. Further, follow-up study was done in the water treatment project of Xi Hua Garden inKunming and the whole record water quality treatment effect was carried out. Studies shows thatthe planning and construction of the green rain water and renewable water infrastructure used inlandscape water, effectively solves the problem of the recycled water and rain in the supply oflandscape water body. That is one task with important significance and will achieveenvironmental, economic, social and many other functional benefits.
