| With the development of industrialization and economics, the speed of urbanization is increasing with more and more people pouring into the urban areas. The density of population in major cities especially cosmopolitans is also increasing with a prominent problem on the traffic. Therefore, it is essential to develop a large-capacity, economic and environmental friendly public transportation system. The urban railway transport system is currently the optimal choice to solve traffic congestion due to its high-speed, large-capacity, high-security, and energy-saving characteristics. In this paper, we first utilize semi-formal Unified Modeling Language (UML) to analyze the Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) based Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) system in detail. After understanding the requirements of ATS system, we determine the system working flow for each functionality. We design the architecture of the ATS system in the perspective of hardware and software according to the each functionality. Finally, the implementation of ATS is conducted to meet the software modules and functional requirements.Due to the usability drawback of the original ATS architecture, this paper introduces the concept of Autonomous Decentralized System(ADS), which separates the implementation of each functionality into several sub-modules instead of a central core module. Each sub-module is independent to finish individual tasks and cooperates to support the overall system functionality. The train scheduling algorithms are usually focused on the optimization of single task. This paper takes the advantage of A-Teams method to implement multitask optimization based on different algorithms to increase the reliability of train scheduling during operation. |
