Vehicle Safety And Knee Airbag Simulation Method

Peoples in every country are pay more attention to the vehicle saety,in additon,the vehicle makers adding lots of safety system to make their product is more attractive and easy to meet the more and more strict regulations. Generally speaking, the safety system include all kinds of airbag, including DAB,PAB,SAB and CAB and the beatbelt. Those safety system can help to reduce the injure of head and thorax,but for femur, lower tibia and knee, it is lack of protection in collision. To reduce the injure for Knee and leg, engineer give a solution, that is the Kenn Airabag. This Paper will study the method to simulate the Knee airbag and the whole simulation procee of vehicle safety, including the method to fold airbag,how to poisition the airbag and how to define the inflator and corrlation with the real test. This paper also study the dummy, column,seatbelt and all of the safety system related to the vehicle safety. After the vehicle level simulation, get the basic information about knee airbag, like the mass flow curve, temperature curve, pressure and volume curve. base on those data, study the key parameter for knee airbag simulation.
