In today’s information age, information technology is an important measure forenterprises to effectively capture the market. Around the product life cycle, realizing theinternal and external information integration and process integration, is the inevitable trend ofthe development of enterprises. Emergence of mass customization production mode, forcesmanufacturing enterprises to shorten the product life cycle and respond quickly to the marketdemands. In the process of production and operation, production technical preparation takes alot of time. It mainly includes two aspects: process management and process design.Therefore, it is a key way to shorten the manufacturing cycle and improve the overallefficiency by process management and process design digitization.This paper is aimed at specific problems met in a blade manufacturing enterprise, andcombined with product data management, researches the process design and process designmethod and proposes corresponding solutions.First of all, it analyses the subject status and declares the importance of product datamanagement.Then explains the concept and occurrence background of the procee digitization.Product data management as a basis for enterprise information integration, it manages thetechnical documentation and business processes which is related to products and supplies aplatform for sharing information. The process is the result from kinds of enterprise resourceinformation and as a information convergence node. States the necessity and actuality of theresearch.Secondly, in order to solve the reality problems, analyses the process design process tomanage the process design process and document. Consider the product in the enterprise as aproject, in accordance with the idea of the project management to decompose the project intotasks, meanwhile decompose the business process according to “Top-To-Down”rule. Assignscorresponding task sign-trial process to task elements for achieving the process of digitizationvisualization by product data management system.Based on the management of the process documents, researches the specific content ofthe process schedules. Blade has very irregular shape and high quality requirements. Toachieve the process digitization, makes product categories according to group technology, andanalyses the blade feature information and process information to establish the blades featuremodel. Establishes an encode rules to realize the information digital, and propose asimilar-measure product algorithm to facilitate the extraction process sample, makes designerconvenient to design process schedules.Finally, using PowerBuilder9.0to develop a process digitized prototype system. ProductCode, retrieving similar products and human-computer interaction process design module aredescribed in detail, and initially realizing blade process digitization.
