Prefabricated construction,as a kind of environmental protection,energy saving and efficient mode of production,can overcome the defects of traditional architecture of the long construction period,poor environmental benefit,high building energy consumption and so on.However,the problems low efficiency of construction and installation,low level of the construction management,and the poor coordination ability of each participant,hinder the development of prefabricated construction in our country.How to solve the problems faced by the present prefabricated construction become the research subject of urgent solution at this stage.This paper starts with the current situation of the development of prefabricated construction in our country,then expounds the development history of prefabricated construction and finally concludes the status of BIM technology in prefabricated construction at home and abroad.By analyzing the characteristics of BIM technology and the application of its software,the advantages of applying BIM technology to the project of prefabricated construction are discussed,aiming at the problems in the development of prefabricated construction.Then,taking the construction stage of prefabricated construction as the specific object of study,through the combination of BIM model and the construction site,construct the framework of the component production,the construction layout,construction quality management,construction safety management,construction schedule management,and the application of each module are introduced in detail.In the end,taking the actual prefabricated construction as an example,the application of BIM technology in the construction of prefabricated building is concretely proved and analysed.Through the research and analysis of this paper,using BIM technology in prefabricated construction engineering can improve the quality of construction significantly,ensure the safety of construction and accelerate the construction progress.Through information integration,collision detection,4D simulation and other BIMtechnology applications,the construction stage of prefabricated construction management has more coordination,which optimize the resources,improve the quality,safety,schedule management and control level,and promote the rapid development of prefabricated construction.
