The oscilloscope technology is developing rapidly. The rapid development ofmicroelectronics technology has greatly promoted the progress of oscilloscopetechnology. The performance of modern Digital Storage Oscilloscope can basicallymeet user’s needs. Therefore, the improvement of the oscilloscope in the economy,portability and versatility change to be the goals the developer pursuit. The high-endOscilloscope in Foreign almost have a full-featured and high-frequency processors,greatly improving the data analysis and processing functions of a digital oscilloscope,and a wealth of advanced computation function. Due to the cost reasons, Oscilloscopesin Domestic don’t use the CPU as the main processor, only with a simple binaryoperations, FFT and filtering operation. Not changing the conditions of the existinghardware resources for advanced math functions is one of the best ways for cost.Combined with the above background, the subject without increasing hardwarecosts, realize advanced math functions based on the use of existing platforms. Itincludes basic math, computing and hybrid computing various functions.Design of Basic math Functional.To enrich the digital oscilloscope function,improve the oscilloscope’s competitiveness in the market, the paper use software toachieve basic math functions without increasing the additional cost which includingbinary operation, design parameters and so on, it can also meet the efficiency of thealgorithm.Various function computing design.As study at signal field of research is becomingmore and more thorough, test and measurement environment is increasinglycomplex.When we get a signal to the oscilloscope to do some data processing andanalysis work, if these signals is the result of a complex signal after the operation, suchas itself through an integrator, differentiator and other equipment,then we get the signalbefore the operation will become very hard.Therefore, the design of various functioncomputing topics, including calculus, differential operation, and other operationalfunctions, are using on the equipment.Hybrid computing design.To reduce the complexity of the test environment and test signals to the test person, we design a hybrid operation method witch could convertcomplex signal to a simple easy to study the signal to make the test work more simpleand saves time, thus improving efficiency.
