Investigation And Research On Agricultural Landscape Of Northeast China

In recent years, urban residents in China are eager to see the natural landscapes full of regional culture in cities, thus urban agriculture landscape and regional landscape have strongly been advocated; on the other hand, through the European landscape design process, we could find their regional landscape vocabulary and methods have learned a lot from domestic agricultural landscape, therefore, in order to develop Chinese native landscape design, China’s landscape architect need to do some more in-depth research about local agricultural landscape.In the past, a lot research about agricultural landscape mostly in human geography and landscape ecology have been done, but it is rare to find researches studying the design language of agricultural landscape in detail. Therefore, this paper is based on field investigation of northeast China’s agricultural landscape elements, including the crops, artificial structures, textures, farmland colors and agricultural landscape patterns. On the basis of summing up field investigation, we can learn from both domestic and foreign methods to translate northeast China’s agricultural landscape elements to graphic landscape vocabulary to provide the urban agriculture landscape and regional landscape design more practical operable material.
