Design Of International Landscape Park In The Northeast Agricultural University

Northeast Agricultural University(NEAU)is located in Harbin,Xiangfang District,ChangJiang Street,600.NEAU is the one of the universities in Heilongjiang Province participating in the development initiative Double First Class University Plan.It has been actively involved in various international exchanges since its foundation in 1948.Under the influence of Harbin,also known as "Moscow of the East" and "Paris of the East",the Northeast Agricultural University also has a rich international experience with a local flavor.Due to the internationalization of Northeast Agricultural University,currently,there is no place at the University for the exchange of knowledge between visiting scholars and foreign students with different cultural backgrounds.It is proposed to create a design project of International Landscape Park in the northeast area of the Northeast Agricultural University.The project of International Landscape Park of Northeast Agricultural University aims to meet people’s needs by creating an innovative public space and providing services for people with different cultural backgrounds.Here,people can share and demonstrate their different cultural values,have social interactions,and contribute to the international development of the University.Also,International Park can help different groups to establish friendly social relations and can serve different social classes and people of different ages.Through literature analysis and case study analysis,this paper studies the relationship between multi-culture,social integration,and public space.Using the method of landscape design to create and strengthen the friendly relationship between different cultures and different social groups,to provide a theoretical basis for the design of the International Landscape Park of Northeast Agricultural University.The main research conclusions of the International Landscape Park in Northeast Agricultural University are as follows:(1)It proposes that the design of international landscape parks should follow the theory of multiculturalism,public space and private space,and social interaction.The international landscape park must follow the requirements of modern society and embody the above theories in the design of the park.The theory of multiculturalism is expressed in such design elements as sculptures,pavement,and others.(2)Based on the case study analysis of Superkilen in Copenhagen,Central Park in New York,Campus Green in the University of Cincinnati,this paper proposes that the design of the International Landscape Park should follow four design principles:people-oriented principle,ecological principle,sustainable development principle,and innovative principle.(3)The International Landscape Park of Northeast Agricultural University offers a design concept based on the theory of multiculturalism,the theory of public space,and social interaction,combined with four design principles outlined above.Taking into account the needs of all ethnic and social groups was developed the idea of unity,the idea of a common destiny,and put forward the concept of "one mind,ten areas." The ideological and conceptual center of the project is the fountain World for All,located in the central square of the park.The conceptual idea comes from the theory of multiculturalism and complemented by the idea of unity,friendship,and an ecological attitude to the planet.Also,the park is divided into 10 functional zones:entrance area,sports area,children’s area,seniors area,forest area,grass area,central square area,four seasons’area,research area,and work area.It reflects the idea that different cultures and social groups are equally important,diversity is important.To summarize,after conducting theoretical research and analysis of several international landscape parks,were proposed the principles,methods,and design of the International Landscape Park of Northeast Agricultural University.The proposed design project of the International Landscape Park in the NEAU provides an opportunity for the development of international resources of the University.
