Research On Ecological Characteristics Of Traditional Dwellings And New Residential Construction In Shouth Shanxi

As the contemporary economy grows rapidly, people’s material and cultural life level have reached an unprecedented peak. The architects have invested a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the construction of modern cities, paid little attention to the inheritance and development of traditional houses, rural construction, as well as the needs of farmers. Thus, traditional houses are facing demolition, destruction; rural construction affected by the city blindly imitate the city. However, China’s vast rural areas are at the high-tide period of building, mainly to farmers’own construction due to China’s rural areas, lack of the science village planning and architectural design and technical guidance, resulting in serious resources waste、environmental pollution and ecological damage, and many other serious problems in rural areas, while seriously increase the economic burden on farmers.The paper selects Xiangfen Ding village and Pinglu Zhangdian village which peace the southern part of Shanxi as research subjects, researches and analysis the natural environment, human factors, farmers living status of the southern part of Shanxi. Information collection, collation, research with the status based on the traditional ecological concept and modern energy-saving technologies,to build the low-carbon residential building to adapt to the ecological environment of Jinnan areas, and to optimize and save existing traditional pit courtyard houses, The specific process is as follows:Understand the current situation about the eco-residence and folk house at home and abroad, to learn the principles and conditions of the ecological elements and the using principle of technology, and dedicat to the study and exploration of a eco-way which fit the new low-carbon rural residence’s sustainable development of Jinnan area.Survey Jinnan region’s natural environment, history and culture, villages morphology, local residents living status, research and statistical analysis of the problems faced by the Jinnan traditional residential development and construction of new rural residential.Select traditional timber frame houses of the Jinnan areas,for example-the26th yard of Ding village, and representatives of the cave dwellings-Zhang Dian village Li Family Compound, proceeding eco-test (indoor thermal environmental testing and energy saving calculation)separately, summing up the ecological experience of the traditional houses of Jinnan.Basing on inherit ecological experience of the traditional houses,use the energy-saving technology of modern architecture, and combine geographical and cultural characteristics of the local, optimizing the architectural design、 building materials and selecting energy reasonably, to provide a theoretical basis for sustainable development of saving the Jinnan traditional houses and the construction of new rural residence.
