Transitional space is an important form of space in landscape space, which has the effect of transformation and adjusting space contradiction in different landscape spaces. The existence of landscape space design has important significance and value. Transitional space first appeared in the field of architecture, and landscape space also exist a lot of transition spaces, between which have similar properties. But the landscape elements constituting in the transitional space are much richer and more multiple. Transition space makes various landscape spaces switch naturally and avoids psychological alienation and conflict due to space force division. Through in-depth study of the transition space, hopefully, it is able to provide the effective reference and guidance of design so that in order to create a good space experience.The author, first of all, on the basis of the research results of the transitional landscape space domestic and overseas, combining with Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Harbin and other cities research of landscape space, concludes the type of landscape space in transition space and form from different views. Based on the entirety of landscape space, this thesis discusses the transition space organization and arrangement of landscape space, respectively from the points of space sequence, space structure, the visual guiding, visual transition, vertical and horizontal interface, and also analyzes, in different cases, transitional space of landscape space link, coordinate, infiltration, diffusion, guiding role. Then, this thesis analyzes the transition from construction technique for research. The building of transitional space is not only in the plane of the two-dimensional, but also more from the angle of the three-dimensional. Meanwhile, it should pay attention to the psychological perception and transition space atmosphere because the leader of using the space is people. The springboard of landscape space design is the feeling of people. Finally, this thesis demonstrates all above points and theories through real examples.
