Wave energy is one of the higher quality energy resources and convenient to use.Thus, research, development and utilization of wave energy will possess a strategicsignificance for realizing the sustainable development of energy and satisfying thehuman demand for energy.At first, this thesis analyzes the research status of the wave energy generationtechnology at home and abroad, summarizes some common wave energy generationdevice, and compares the advantages and disadvantages. According to the actual seastate, the thesis designs a kind of oscillation based on offshore platform, most parts ofwhich are in sealed on the offshore platform and can effectively avoid the corrosion ofparts by sea. In addition, the device adopts double rack as a transmission mechanism,which can maximize the utilization of wave energy.There are five points about it.Firstly, it designs the structure of the wave energy generation device, analyzes itsworking principle. The structure design includes designs of transmission parts,column and the working platform. Most parts are in sealed on the offshore platformand can effectively avoid the corrosion of parts by sea.Secondly, based on micro-wave amplitude theory, it establishes the mathematicalmodel of the water particle motion in waves, according to which the thesis studies thequality of velocity and acceleration motion law, works out the locus equation of waterparticle, and also analyzes the pressure of the waves and the mathematic expression ofthe wave energy.Thirdly, it analyzes the wave force of the vertical cylindrical float, establishes thedifferential equation of motion of floating body, deduces the mathematical expressionof the added mass, the radiation damping coefficient and the viscous dampingcoefficient of the floating body by the dimensional analysis, using Matlab to solvedifferential equations of different size of float, based on results of which floating body structure has been optimized.Fourthly, it analyses the vertical wave force of vertical cylindrical floating bodyby the method of Froude-Krylov Assumption Methodstress analysis, determines theradius of floating body, the basic geometric parameters like the draft, calculates theenergy absorption rate of the float, and set up the mathematical model of generatorpower’s output, calculating and analyzing output power of generator.Fifthly, it carries on the dynamic simulation analysis for the power generationdevice driving parts through the dynamics analysis software ADAMS and validatesthe correctness of theoretical analysis, which lays a foundation for the establishmentof physical prototype.
