The flow in the internal channels of centrifugal compressor which consists of inlet,impeller and diffuser is very complex, the compressor is one of the core member of theturbocharger, and the compressor work, better or not, has great effect on aerodynamicperformance of the turbocharger. At present, with the development of computer andnumerical technology, some three-dimensional Computational Fluid Dynamicssoftwares are used more and more in rotating machine to analysis the internal flow. Inaddition, the impeller’s work environment is very poor, its exposure to centrifugal force,aerodynamic force, flexural moment and vibration,etc, so it is prone to failures, andvarious loads have a high degree of coupling, it is necessary to carry on thefluid-structure interaction analysis in order to get a more realistic and accuratenumerical. Numerical simulation analysis of centrifugal compressor and finite elementanalysis of the impeller have become one of major ways to analyze flow rules, strengthand vibration problems.In the paper, internal flow performance of the compressor in different operatingconditions using the NUMECA which is a three dimensional CFD software, got thedifferent speed compressor efficiency-quality flow curve and compressor gascharacteristic curve, detailedly Analyzed the distribution of speed and pressure in somefeatured section of a compressor, and the pressure and temperature of the length ofblade pressure surface and the suction side. Discussed the influence of blade number,tip-clearance leakage,diffuser or without blade and blade parameters of diffuser on thecompressor performance.In order to acquire the more real detailed stress status of centrifugal compressorimpeller with splitter blade, do an one-way fluid-solid interaction analysis ofcompressor impeller and blade, through the interface between the software, realizes thepressure field data transfer. Maximum stress and deformation distribution of theimpeller which were acted simultaneously by the centrifugal and aerodynamic force,were acquired, gets the stress-strain nephogram of the compressor blades as well as theinherent frequency and the corresponding modal shape, by calculating and comparingthe influence of the centrifugal force and pneumatic pressure on stress and naturalfrequency.Through this analysis,a comprehensive understanding of the flow of the compressor in the various state, the flow of the compressor in the various state is comprehensiverealized through the analysis, also proving the reliability of impeller strength and theresonance point of compressor in the common rotate speed is gotten. The numericalparameters provided are very important to further improve the structural parameters ofthe compressor, to avoid the resonance speed, to improve the life of the compressor.
