The city traffic congestion has become a worldwide problem.Building a integratedpublic transportation system becomes one of the most efficient methods to solve thisproblem,which is mainly composed of city rail and bus,and coordinated with othermodes of transport.The feeder problem of rail transit station and other means oftransport is an important content of integrated public transportation.The efficient feederof rail transit stations and other modes of transport can highlight the advantages ofvarious transportations and the distributional capacity of rail transit, reduce people’stravel time, improve the efficiency of public transportation.Therefore,the research offeeder of city rail station and other transportations is very necessary.Firstly,the definition and classification of city rail stations are introduced in thispaper.Based on the summary of advantages and disadvantages of traditionalclassification standards,the hierarchical clustering method is used to classify city railstation.Then,from the perspective of passengers,the psychological expectations andbehavior characteristics of passengers are introduced.The temporal and spatialdistribution characteristics and growth law of passengers are also analyzed in thispaper.Secondly,the characteristics of other feeding transportations are introduced.thispaper points out that walk is the most suitable to feed the rail transit station.Themeaning and content of feeding system are discussed,and the answer to why rail transitstation is needed to feed is also given,then the feeder layout,the feeder principle and thefeeder mode are studied in this paper.Using the principle and method of KLP model,theconnection distance model based on passenger psychological impedance isestablished,and the model of equivalent horizontal movement distance is alsodetermined by the principle of energy consumption proportion.Chongqing railpassengers were investigated through questionnaire survey.After confirming thereliability of questionnaire,using the feeder distance model,the standard feeder distanceand the feeder distance limit are determined in the article.Finally,The results of theresearch are applied to the analysis of examples.The application of case shows that the method and the model that proposed by authorare simple and practical,it is helpful to improve the theory of integrated publictransportation.
