The development of computer and Internet technology has changed the work andlifestyle of the modern man, people of certain economic ability or wealthy families athome begin to pursue leisure sports to promote their own development, this wish iswell met by the bicycle which possesses both leisure and sports features. Bicycle, inthe past as a means of transport and transport equipment is becoming the people’sleisure and entertainment tool. In the time of experiential economy and intentionaltransition of domestic bicycle industry, it’s already out of place to consider the needsof users only from the functional point of view, but need to focus on user experienceof the bicycle at this stage.The first part of this dissertation is to analyze and study the product features anddevelopment tendency of bicycles, which is to be followed by an overview of thedefinition, type and influencing factors of user experience. On this premise, to refer toproduct design and experience design process, then put forward the bicycleexperience design process and on a basis of preliminary analysis of bicycle users toconfirm the target study user and investigate the characteristics of the target user.Field questionnaire provides the in-depth understanding of the user’s actual situation.To adopt the field observations and interviews to collect the users’ bicycle experienceinformation and the actual experience status of the user behavior. The informationcollected via the two methods above provides the basis for building the bicycle userexperience model. Through the collection and analysis of information of the targetuser experience in the sports and leisure activities, and the combination of the userexperience model proposed by Robert Rubinoff, identify the four elements of themodel of the user experience, which are respectively being sensory experience,interactive experience, security experience and brand experience, and by analyzingand summarizing the four elements to sort out the description data used to measurethe users’ experience of leisure bicycling. This thesis builds the bicycle userexperience model basing on the description of the four factors and puts forward theevaluation form combining the descriptions of the four elements mentioned, and with the model built being a guide for design and case analysis. In the development ofspecific designs, and on the basis of researches, this thesis has a related discussion ofthe female bicycle development status and consumption characteristics, compares andanalyzes two cases of female bicycle brands. Product experience evaluations werecarried out basing on the user experience model put forward in the article, with theevaluations carried out on the users from the Bicycle Forum who own the samebicycle models. In this case, to summarize the female bicycle characteristics and doman-machine analysis on the related characteristics. Lastly, carries out practicaldesigns.
