Community Participation In The Tourism Development Of Traditional Style District

Tourism is not smokeless industry, the excessive development of tourism brought more and more negative effects, such as traffic congestion, damage to the environment, loss of cultural and so on. But finally, these negative effects need to be beared by the local residents of the tourist passively, which lead to a series of social problems. Therefore, the introduction of community participation in the tourism development process has become a new trend of sustainable development of tourism.Recent years, the traditional style district set off a crazy of tourism development in our country. But at present, the conventional tourism development model in our country just focuses on purely economic interests, ignoring the importance of the local residents to the tourism development of the traditional style district, which hinder the sustainable development of the local tourism industry ultimately. Therefore, the tourism development of the traditional style district must introduce community participation of local residents.Based on the research of community participation in tourism development at home and abroad, this article sums up the research of the community participation in tourism development in our country can not directly copy the western theoretical achievements. At the same time, this article, combine with the related characteristics of the traditional style district, proposes the research on community participation in tourism development of the traditional style district in our country can learn from Taiwan’s community building idea, community participation must establish and condensed the community common consciousness of the residents in traditional style district. Under the guidance and promotion of community common consciousness, tourism development of the traditional style district can achieve real bottom-up participation. Based on this, this paper, research from several aspects respectively and set up the process of community participation:recognition of traditional style value, exploration of the power in community participation, the establishment of community organizations and the comprehensive construction of community life. Finally, Take the tourism development of Shanghai TianZi fang district as an example, concretely analyzing its community participation in the tourism development process, combining with the results of theoretical research, put forward some personal advice.
