Building The Sustainable Tourist Community

With the high-speed development of tourism, some traditional communities such as the ancient villages, small towns and cities were become the important tourist destinations and known very well. At the same time, with the great influence of the Globalization and the Urbanization, we are paying a good deal of attention to the protection and development of the traditional communities. Tourism is a behavior between the communities. Only by researching on the angle of community can we grasp tourist behavior overall.The tourism affords some chances of development of the traditional community, and may possibly produce some negative influence. On the one hand, the tourism achieves remarkable success to improve economic level of community, to raise income of resident, to enhance construction of basic environment and protection of traditional culture of community. On the other hand, owing to neglect the sustainable development of the tourist community, some contradictions bring to our attention in the course of the development of tourism. So the research of balance development of tourism and community turns into a more pressing problem.The research of sustainable development of tourism by community approach was paid great attention more and more. In this thesis, there is a wish that the sustainable development of community and tourism is able to be achieved side by side in the process from the traditional community to the tourist community, by constructing a system.This thesis consists of 5 chapters.Chapter 1 ( introduction part ) shows such the interrelated concepts as tourist community and analyses its component factors. And the purpose of this part is mainly to explain why the traditional community can become the tourist community.Chapter 2, 3, 4 ( main part ) analyze some different contradictions in the tourist community and construct a system of it. The purpose of this part is mainly to solve how the traditional community can become the tourist community.Chapter 5 ( conclusion part ) mainly explains the concept of sustainable development of tourist community, and points out the central idea of the thesis that the tourist community of sustainable development is a path of revival of the traditional community.
