Research On The Evaluation Of Mechanical Product Design Schemes Based On The Value Engineering

With the increasing competition of the manufacturing industry, the mechanical productsneed to meet the rapidly changing needs of the market faster and faster. The quality of aproduct is to a large extent determined by the product design scheme, and whether theproduct design scheme is good or bad was depengding on the system of schemes evaluation.So, If the system of schemes evaluation was unright, maybe a good product design schemewill be abandoned. Therefore, the research on the evaluation of mechanical product designschemes is necessary.This thesis found the deficiencies of value engineering in the function evaluation process,after the study of common evaluate methods used in the mechanical product design schemes.Then we introduced the two-factor theory into the value engineering effectively, founding thevalue engineering evaluation model based on two-factor theory. According to the model, wefirst define the evaluation indicators and then making it into the classification with essentialfunctions or incentive functions; and then determining the weights of the evaluationindicators by using AHP to determine the importance weight of evaluation indicator andusing a simple scoring method to determine the interaction weight of evaluation indicator,and linear summing to obtain the comprehensive weight; and then scoring the product designscheme according to the value scoring rules, evaluating the single function of the scheme byusing the essential and incentive functions of function-the utility which were fitted; and thenlinear summing to obtain the comprehensive evaluation, analysising and computing the lifecycle cost of the product; and then calculating the value of the product design scheme byusing the relative value method.Finally, making a evaluation instance about the sheet stamping auxiliary design scheme,to verify the value engineering evaluation model based on two-factor theory in text. Themodel enriched the evaluation system of mechanical product design scheme in theoretically.
