With the improvement of people’s living standard, people have higher requirements onthe automobile ride comfort and handling stability in the process of moving. The car whichhas an air suspension becomes more and more welcomed by the majority of automotivecustomers because variable stiffness and damping coefficients of air suspension can meet therequirements of automobile ride comfort and handling stability in a variety of road conditions.In the part of control of air suspension, with the development of computer-controlled, thetechnology of electronically controlled air suspension began to be applied the car. Based onthe characteristics of a drum air spring, this paper develops a vehicle attitude controller basedon DSP.Firstly, according to the vehicle dynamics equations, the seven DOF model of thevehicle is established and stochastic road model as the road input, the roll and pitch of thevehicle in different conditions is simulated in Simulink environment. According to thesimulation analysis, the roll angle and pitch angle of vehicle test before electronicallycontrolled air suspension system being installed can be drawn. Meanwhile, it provides atheoretical basis for the control logic of controller.Secondly, this article elaborates on the hardware and parameters, functions, and selectionof the vehicle attitude controller, including controller emulator, sensors, amplifier circuit, andcorrection circuit, and a peripheral circuit of the controller being built. In the part of softwareprogramming, software design of vehicle attitude controller based on DSP module iselaborated, including the initialization module, AD acquisition correction module,identification of key and transmission module, LCD display module and interrupt logiccontrol module. Based on real-time data, vehicle attitude can be effectively controlled, and thestability in the process of vehicle running is improved.Finally, by validating the hardware system and commissioning and testing the softwaresystems, the implementing agencies can implement the prescribed actions. The result showsthat the functions of developed controller have realized and the desired effect has achieved.
