So, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to make an in-depth study about how to provide people with high quality residential buildings, so as to protect the safety of people’s life and property and to guarantee the prestige and economic benefits of construction enterprises. The project quality management of Zibo Qi Yue International City, which is a typical residential building project, with the deepening of the construction process, has exposed some questions that can not be ignored. Therefore, an analysis of quality control in Zibo Qi Yue International Residential Project will help to study and resolve the current problems existing in project quality management, and will also be beneficial in solving the current problems in quality management of construction engineering in China.After a survey of the quality management in Zibo Qi Yue International Residential Project, we know the construction unit has done a lot of groundwork. A system of quality control has been established within the construction enterprise, involving the General Manager, the assistant General Manager in charge of quality control, the department in charge of quality supervision, project manager and project technical director. And quality supervision Department has also been established with the setting up of quality control Department and the appointment of full-time quality inspector. Apart from these, a series of quality management process for all the construction links, and a reward and punishment mechanism of quality management have been introduced.During the construction process, owing to weak quality awareness, incidents in violation of the provisions of the quality managements sometimes happen. Judging from the construction personnel, the overall quality of the working team is low; the management staff are of mixed levels and unable to comply fully with the construction standards in their work. In management and use of construction materials, procurement and testing of building materials are not always in accordance with design requirements, inappropriate custody and use of construction materials also exist, such as mixed materials stacking, causing misuse of materials and changes in strength and stiffness. From the point of construction machinery management, machinery and equipment obsolescence and extended service cause mechanical performance decline, thus affecting the quality of the project. At the same time, lack of rational allocation, joint operation efficiency of construction machinery and equipment is not ideal. In terms of construction methods, enterprise technology innovation is inadequate and exploration of new technology is lagging behind the demand; even some simple quality problems cannot get good solutions.Through the analysis of the problems existing in Zibo Qi Yue International Residential Project and their reasons, this thesis proposes some measures to further strengthen the construction quality management of the project, including the strengthening of the management of construction personnel, the setting up of an effective incentive mechanism, the strengthening of the management of building materials, construction machinery and the key construction processes. These measures will not only effectively ensure the construction quality of the project being discussed; they also have certain reference value for quality management of other projects.
