The last century fifty’s, with the project management technology of network plan technology as the foundation was born in the West. After decades of development, the project management technology has been widely used in various construction projects, especially in recent years, domestic and international attention to project management research, and the related theories and tools are widely applied to various projects in the construction process.Construction project management is a very important content of project management, it is not only related to the project cost, schedule and quality, but also directly related to the enterprise’s economic benefit, social benefit and reputation. At present, a considerable part of the construction unit because of the lack of new technology and new theory, in the management of the project progress, The project is often extended to finish, or to complete the project according to plan to increase the project cost, which not only causes losses to the owners, construction units, but also reduces the credibility and competitiveness in the the market of construction units. Therefore, in order to ensure project quality and quantity according to plan, we must implement the effective management of project schedule.In this paper, the application of project management theory, taking Zibo pine Washington high-rise residential building project as an example, conducts the research to its construction schedule management, to explore a suitable for China’s current construction project management model of the effective project schedule management method.
