China is a country prone to geological disasters,especially in the western regiont,mountaingeological environment is very complex.Abnormal changes in the geological environment,sothe western region become a geological disaster-prone area,landslides,avalanches,mudslidesis the most typical and most serious of the three types.With the rapid development of highwayconstruction,mountain road works construction scale rapid growth,highway geologicaldisasters are increasing,especially the highway steep rock slope collapse disaster has causedgreat damage to the road traffic safety.Every year road dangerous rock collapse led to manyserious life and property safety incidents,so the highway slope rock body of landslide disasterthat has the characteristics of wide distribution,strong burst.In order to reduce or even avoidthe adverse effects of perilous rock due to road safety,need to study the scientific and effectivemethod for disaster monitoring and early warning on highway slope rock body.Therefore,highway slope rock body monitoring technology has attracted wide attention of manyresearchers,and carried out a series of research and experiment.This article is relying on the the Western Transportation Research Project and carried outscientific research. This paper expounds the basic concept and key technology of the Internetof things technology, and the research of perilous rock basic theory and monitoringtechnology,to explore the Internet of things technology applied in the field of engineeringtechnology,and combined with the production mechanism and characteristics of highwayslope rock body of landslide disaster,establish a highway side slope rock body of monitoringand early warning system based on Internet of things,mainly achieved the following progress:1)This paper analysis internet of things technology about the theory and core technology,including:the internet of things technology’s basic concept,key technology,characteristic andfunction,internet of things technology’s development trend,research status,application field.2)This paper then elaborated highway steep rock slope disaster formation mechanism andthe collapse disaster monitoring and early warning technology,after researching on theformation conditions and impact factors of perilous rock collapse of geological disasters,introduces and analyzes the technical features of the existing landslide, dangerous rock bodymonitoring method,and as the reference object of IOT perilous rock monitoring technology.3)Based on the research on the theory of internet of things,this paper in order to RFIDtechnology and GPRS technology as the core, to build the highway slope perilous rockmonitoring and early warning system based on internet of things.The system is composed ofRFID module, GPRS module, receiving module, forecast analysis evaluation module,so that the system can reflect to get perilous rock disaster timeliness of the information, but also tomeet the requirements of the system users accurate evaluation and effective handling ofdangerous rock mass.4)Through the indoor simulation experiments,to verify the feasibility of IOT technologyapplied in the field of highway geological disaster monitoring and early warning,also provideeffective exploration and experimental data support for the system development and operation.
