Study On The Value Orientation And Spatial Configuration Of Urban Landscape

Urban Landscape improvement is not as good as China urbanization accomplishment in past years. The overall urban environment and landscape quality is downgrading although some cities has improved their own environment. We observed that new visual landscape pollution was caused by constructive destruction. The root cause of most cases is that the urban landscape is lack of human dimensions factors, aesthetic factors as well as ecosystem function factors. Therefore, it’s necessary to study on the value orientation and spatial configuration of urban landscape.Based on "DemandValue" viewpoint, the author chooses individual’s value orientation as major research direction by referring to the average value of individual judgment. In this way, the research is focused on the direction which can farthest showcase to landscape value development and the complexity of landscape huge value subjects can be avoided. Value system basic cognition of urban landscape is elaborated in this thesis, which includes urban landscape value deficiency, sense ofvalue and value composition. The relationship among urban landscape, spatial configuration and value orientation is studied. At last, the author proves that aesthetic factor is playing an important role in urban landscape in terms of artistic treatment manner, spatial configuration as well as formal aesthetic designing requirement with two cases, and demonstrates the natural environment request of ecological value in urban landscape from ecology design idea and ecological system structure perspective.The designer of urban landscape and spatial configuration in the future should consider culture heritage as the foundation. By heritage and development on its own culture, the urban landscape should be more characteristic and more localized regarding to the form of landscape and spatial configuration. Modern urban landscape should be integrated into garden landscape, urban plan and architect science. Abalance should be found among society, culture, art and ecology.
