With the deep development of industrialization and urbanization in our country,high-rise even super high-rise building fire accident occurred frequently, the difficultyof fire fighting and rescue work are increased, the disaster relief problem becomeobviously. The emergence of accident such as collapse of ladder truck, fracture of steelwire rope or ladder, out of control of machine which cased by the rescue speed, loadincrease, working range expansion, driver view was covered and so on put forwardhigher request for ladder truck. Therefore, it is necessary for ladder truck to monitor itsrunning status. A reliable technical foundation is provided by the development ofcomputer technology and control technology.On the basis of researching and referring to the monitoring system of ladder truckcranes, excavators, loaders and other related engineering machinery, this paperdeveloped a motoring system of ladder truck which used single-chip processor as thecontrol core. The dynamic state of ladder truck was analysed, the monitored parameterswas determined. Through the design and debugging of software and hardware, thecurrent value of ladder truck’s working-status was displayed.When the parameter valuewent beyond the rating, the system would give an alarm and power would be shut off.The data transmission between upper machine and lower machine was realized throughserial communication technology, the function of parameter’s changed value and curvedisplay、alarm display in different limit condition and the data’s record、query and saveand so on were realized through upper machine.At the same time, the upper machinecould control all working of ladder truck.The real-time monitoring of ladder truck’srunning state by upper machine and lower machine was accomplished.Before system completed, this paper used Proteus simulation software to simulatethe system design of software and hardware. Not only the complex process of hardwaretest was avoided, but also a large number of components waste in experimental process was saved by this method, the development cost was reduced and the developmentcycle was shorten heavily.
