With the high-tech such as the electronic technology and the sensor technology, beingwidely used in military field, the environment of battlefield gets more and more complex, andthe engineering supply of battlefield gets more and more difficult, thus the request of theengineering machinery supply efficiency gets higher and higher. In order to reduce the faultand accident of military engineering machinery, and enhance the reliability, security andvalidity on running, it has been urgent to monitor the running status of the engineeringmachinery at real time.Under the study of the military engineering machinery monitoring system at home andabroad, this paper introduces a new one for the military engineering machinery, which takesadvantage of the former research result in these fields of electronic, computer, sensing and soon. The material desiring work is stated follow:1) Revolving these various status factors which can reflect the engineering machineryrunning steadily and safely, these parameters such as temperature and pressure of engine,hydraulic system and work device, are chosen as monitoring object by amply analyzing thesecurity status parameter of unit of the military engineering machinery. Then the wholeproject of the intelligent status monitoring system is given on this basis.2) Abiding by the practical and evolutionary principle, the system hardware is designed.Ensuring that the periphery expansion of the system is small, the CAN controller P87C591 ischosen as the CPU. Meanwhile, the forward channel of signal gathering electric circuit andthe man-machine interaction channel, such as the data display, the keyboard and the alarm,are designed in this paper. Besides, the anti-jamming methods for some hardware circuit arealso proposed in view of the complex environment and plentiful interferential factors.3) A double function communication circuit is designed in this paper. The fault and ultralimit operation record can be transmitted to PC by RS-232 serial communication. In additionthe system can communicate with other exterior equipment by CAN bus.The military engineering machinery monitoring system designed in this paper not onlyperforms the general functions such as monitoring, controlling, ultra limit alarming and LCDdisplay, but also records the history data of overload state and communicate with exteriorequipment. This system can implement real-time monitoring on line. As a result themalfunction and ultra limit operation can be reported quickly and precisely as well as storingand transmitting this information to PC. Finally the system is confirmed by installing, debugging and running on the GCZ-110 marching multipurpose engineering truck, whichshows that the system is consonant with the requirement.
