As the rapid development of China’s economy over the next decade, theconstruction industry will developed synchronously. With the development ofconstruction industry, high-rise buildings are increasing and many problems areappearing. Among them, the question caused great influence to the society, which thehigh-rise building construction safety accident occurred frequently. Under thisbackground, it is very necessary to research on the evaluation of the high-rise buildingconstruction safety. Around the establishment of high-rise building construction safetyevaluation system, the paper took the high-rise building project as the research objectand did the following several aspects work.(1) The main factors of High-rise building construction safety were pointed out byusing the theory of hazards and safety accident cause. With applying the hazard theory,the hazards in the main phase of the construction were analysised. This paperresearched the mechanism of accidents based on49large accident cases of buildingconstruction from2010to2012. Large high-rise building construction safety accidentwas classified. It was explored that the causes and characteristics of each accident typewere different.Four aspects were proposed, which were affecting the safety ofhigh-rise building construction.(2) High-rise building construction safety evaluation index system was structuredbased on the safety accident cause theory. By reviewing related literature and consultingexperts, this paper selected indexes to establish appropriate the construction site safetyevaluation index system, which were suitable for application and full-scale reflection.The value of each index was defined by using arithmetic classification methods, whichprovided a basis for the application of the evaluation index system. (3)High-rise building construction safety evaluation model was builded with usingthe combination weighting and improved TOPSIS. By setting fixed type evaluationobjects, this paper established the criteria of dynamic safety assessment4level. Themethod, which was based on improved TOPSIS comprehensive evaluation, can not onlyrealize the project quality, but also can output single project evaluation results at thesame time. This provides a new idea for safety assessment of high-rise buildingconstruction.(4) The paper took the model of high-rise building construction safety evaluationfor application and put forward suggestion of the construction safety management. Thismodel was application on four high-rise building construction projects in property parkof HuaQing, which was based on the combination weighting and improved TOPSIS.The results showed that combination right can be more discrete output and the improvedTOPSIS and traditional TOPSIS calculation results have consistency. This will providefurther basis for the application of the model. High-rise building construction safetymanagement measures were pointed out for35#, which was in relatively poorconstruction safety situation.
