The Study Of Human-machine Interface On Vehicle Navigation System Based On Cognitive Psychological

The thesis is based on the cognitive psychology,it aims to solve the existing problemssuch as cognitive difficulties,understanding fuzzy,the potential danger while operating thevehicle navigation system.It did some interviews and questionnaire among targetpopulation so as to understand the perception,attention,memory,language.thinking andsome other cognitive problems and analyzed the users’ cognitive progress when they areusing the navigation system,it summarized the psychological demands of the targetpopulation and established the cognitive model and the action modle which is suitable forthe target population.It puts forward the design principle based on the user modle which fits to thecognitive psychology; In the improvement program the thesis adopted the latesttechnology:Heads up display and Holigraphic projection which transferred the way of theexisting navigation message display from the navigation screen to the front windshield andthe road which lessened the distraction of the driver’s concentration,avioded theinterference of the user’s sensory channel;It also redesigned the enter location and thesystem icon in order to make the improvement program correspond the user’spsychological demands eventually.The thesis processed the results of the questionnaire by using the mathematicalstatistics and analyzed the validity and reliability of the results,it demonstrates theimprovement program of the vehicle navigation system from the perspective such asphysiology,psychology,environment and so on,the argumentation proves that theprogram well solved the user’s trouble when using the existing navigation system,and itproves that the improvement program offers the users a design plan which is not only safeand reliable but also quick and easy.At the same time,the conclusion made by the improvement program provides theoretical reference accordingly for the research institutesand manufacturers of the vehicle navigation system.
