Rut is one of the most prominent of high grade highway asphalt pavement in China,one of the greatest harm damage types. The rut disease, not only affect the pavementquality and service life, but also a serious impact on traffic safety. Therefore, how totake effective measures to control rutting has become a pressing matter of the momentof the Department of roads and highways. For rutting research, mostly from the reactionof rutting formation of the most basic test events rutting test, contact the actualpavement rutting. Based on the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation ondeformation prediction of rutting test.1.This article draw on load from the rut formation of asphalt pavement, combinedwith the actual working environment, to detect the temperature of existing asphaltpavement structure key position, while collecting the related meteorological data, aswell as the test of thermal physical parameters of asphalt mixture, pavementtemperature gradient distribution of simulated calculation by the finite element analysis,the influence of temperature distribution factors.2. Starting from the physical meaningof the dynamic modulus of asphalt mixture, dynamic modulus test of multipletemperature under multiple loading frequency effect, mathematical parameters by fittingthe experimental data to characterize the viscoelasticity of asphalt mixture. Analysisshows that the dynamic modulus of asphalt mixture can effectively describe theviscoelastic properties, composition of reaction mixture, characterized by a set of datafor a plurality of temperature under multiple loading frequency can be dependent intime temperature equivalent temperature characterization.3. Single cart rut test andthree laminate with temperature gradient of the total thickness rutting test based onrutting test, to establish the finite element model, using numerical simulation, the ruttingformation and development analysis. That the traffic load is the dominant factor of rutting formation, temperature is by changing the mixture modulus indirectly affect therutting development; at the same time, for the total thickness rutting test, the ruttingdeformation in the surface layer, upper and lower levels.4. According to the single plate,three plate loading at different temperatures, respectively on three plates rutting depthand single cart rut test total thickness rutting test for regression estimation, the ruttingtest the rutting prediction model, and further discusses its relationship with the actualpavement rutting.In view of the actual pavement rutting formation environment is complex andchangeable, starting from a single test event indoor rutting test and test condition, theresearch on indoor temperature gradient of pavement rutting of asphalt, based ondynamic modulus deformation prediction, as the actual pavement rutting formation anddevelopment of the prediction results provide references.
