“Black pollution” from waste tire has already become a great obstacle tosustainable development of automobile industry, waste tire can be processed intoreclaimed rubber crumbs used in surface mortar has important significance for savingresources, environmental protection and performance improvement of surface mortar.The surface mortar with rubber crumb is developed and application performance isstudied in this paper, research result has practical value.In order to improve bond behavior of crumb rubber and cement-based materials,modification method on surface of crumb rubber is studied. The result shows that whenusing the percentage silane coupling agent KH570is2%as modifier, it can enhance therequirement of compression strength, flexural strength and lower the ratio ofcompressive strength to some extent, this method is convenient to operate and nopollution to environment, it is a feasible method for interface treatment of crumb rubber.On this basis, reclaimed rubber crumbs on different admixture amounts and diameter tovolumetric replace sand to get mortar and properties are investigated, the optimum mixamount of rubber is19%and60mesh rubber is the best size.Fly ash and mineral powder as composite mineral admixture to substitute cementequivalently can improve bond force between rubber crumb and cement-based materials.The result shows that fly ash content is15%and mineral powder content is10%ascomposite mineral admixture to replay cement, so the ratio of flexural strength to elasticmodulus is minimum, water consumption is less and shrinkage during drying is lower.Based on the experiment of reasonable modification methods to rubber crumb, the bestsizes of filler particles of crumb rubber, the best contents of crumb rubber and mineraladmixture, adding the polymer to optimize and design orthogonal test, through a seriesof tests by impact resistance and the ratio of flexural strength to determine rationalproportion on surface mortar with rubber crumb is cement: fly ash: mineral: fine sand:rubber particles: re-dispersible latex powder: cellulose: polypropylene: water reducer=1:0.199:0.133:3.024:0.147:0.067:0.006:0.003:0.014. The result shows that product of surface mortar finished has good toughness,tensile bond strength, impact resistance and higher freeze-thaw resistance properties,which can cost savings, waste utilization, environmental protection at the same time,also can give full play to the additional performance of the rubber particles in the wall.
